A brief history of Rebecca Creek Baptist ChurchHeritage Baptist Church
In the beginning, Heritage Baptist Church was a mission out of Leon Valley Baptist Church, located in Northwest San Antonio. Prayer and planning for this new work began in October of 2006. The first service commenced in August of 2007, and HBC held its charter service on January 10, 2010.
Spring Branch Baptist Church
Spring Branch Baptist Church at the same time was a thriving church located just north of the river on Hwy 281 in Spring Branch, where the Lord had blessed them with 21 acres after years of meeting in the volunteer fire department building on Hwy 311.
The Merge
The Lord led Heritage and Spring Branch to merge in September 0f 2014, and after 6 months of diligent work, the churches became Rebecca Creek Baptist Church on March 1st 2015.
Today Rebecca Creek has one goal – to see the world come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!
